First of all, I had no idea there was a grand prize. I was just entering to win free Tone body wash. I was visiting my family in the boonies where the internet is ridiculously slow. I hate being away from my computer and checking my email is a pain, but I didn't want to come back to 400 emails. I was deleting almost everything when something caught my eye. "Congratulations! You're the Turn It Up with Tone and Kellie Pickler Grand Prize Winner! - SECOND NOTIFICATION." I then realized that the first notification email was in my Spam folder! I'm so lucky they gave me 72 hours to respond and sent me a follow-up email.
So what did I win? The Grand Prize includes: round-trip air transportation for two (2) to Nashville, two (2) nights’ hotel stay, two (2) passes to the Country Music Hall of Fame, two (2) salon gift certificates, two (2) $200 boutique gift cards, a private meet and greet session with Kellie Pickler prior to her concert, two (2) concert tickets for the Kellie Pickler performance, limousine service to and from the concert, and $1,000 spending money. Approximate maximum retail value is $4,000!! Holy Moly!
Kellie even announced it on her Facebook page. I can't wait to meet you either, Kellie!!
I was curious about the details of the concert so I Googled Kellie Pickler in Nashville. She is performing with Dierks Bentley at the Grand Ole Opry!!! I love country music and to be at the Grand Ole Opry will be amazing. September 17th can't get here fast enough! I will definitely blog about my trip to Nashville and take lots of pictures, so stay tuned!

I have become discouraged lately because I put a lot of time into sweeping and don't seem to win back enough to make it worth the effort. A big win such as yours would change my mind for sure! lol

ReplyDeleteThat is awesome! I have met tons of country stars as I work in country radio, but I have never met Kellie Pickler! I have also never been to the Grand Ole Opry, so I am very happy for you! She and Dierks are both AWESOME in concert {I have seen them both} so I believe you will have a great time! Be sure to take something for Kellie to autograph because, in my experience, artists don't always have booths set up to buy something. Most artists will sign up to 2 things. :) Also, get their early, they will probably make you pick up meet and greets somewhere which you may not be able to get backstage without.
