Baby Cakes Cupcakery Review ~ Gourmet Cupcakes You Can't Resist!

I'm so excited to bring you my first local product review! Baby Cakes Cupcakery is located in Westminster, Colorado, just north of Denver. Baby Cakes creates custom gourmet cupcakes for any occasion, including weddings, baby showers, birthdays, and almost anything else you can think of!

I had the pleasure of receiving Chocolate Caramel cupcakes to taste and I couldn't wait to dive in. These cupcakes are so moist and filled with goodness, you have to eat them with a fork! I'm usually not a chocolate on chocolate kind of gal, but these cupcakes are so delicious. The frosting was perfect. I've had many store-bought cupcakes and have tried "out of the can" frostings, and they are all so sugary. The frosting on these cupcakes was so light and fluffy. The cupcake itself has little caramel bits in it and had vanilla vodka and Cupcake brand Chocolate Devil's Food vodka in it!! To DIE for!! Each bite was better than the last. The only way I can explain it is that they make you want to hold each bite in your mouth just a little while longer so you can savor the flavor. And I couldn't stop at one... I ate TWO cupcakes in a row! I wanted to see how my coworkers liked them so I brought the remaining two cupcakes to work to let the vultures fight over them. I put them in the break room, turned my back, and there were gone! I thought I knew who one of the culprits was, but to my surprise it turned out to be my boss who doesn't even like chocolate or cupcakes. She said it was the most delicious cupcake she ever had!

Kari at Baby Cakes tries to make her cupcakes as natural as possible, which means they are healthier for you! She uses NO artificial food coloring. She is very creative in how she uses different foods to add color. I have never been able to master the art of baking at high altitude, so I consider these cupcakes extra special. I don't know how Kari does it, but she does it perfectly.

Baby Cakes charges $3.50 per cupcake plus $50 for event setup and delivery. It is worth every penny. Kari does an incredible job decorating and setting up the cupcake display. Baby Cakes also has cake pops or cake bite truffles for $1.50 a piece. Right now Baby Cakes is running out of Kari's home, so she is limited to one event per week. You better book her now!
