2. Blogging ~ I love interacting with people online and writing. It helps me get in touch with my creative side, which I have ignored for a long time.
3. Selling on eBay ~ I have been doing this for the past 6 years. It started as a summer job in college. I worked for a real estate company that had bought a farm. In the barn was over 100 boxes of Red Wing pottery. I've always loved antiques but was never really knowledgeable about them. I quickly became very educated on Red Wing and had a lot of fun selling on eBay. After I left the job for college, I thought "Hey, I could do this myself!" So I went out treasure hunting at antique stores and garage sales and started selling on my own. Sometimes I don't even care if I break even. The thrill of watching the bids go up during the last minute of the auction is enough for me!
4. Hiking ~ The Rocky Mountains are a beautiful place and I try to go hiking on the weekends. Some days I do a relaxed hike, and others I try to challenge myself. I still have not hiked a 14er, but it's a goal I have! For those who don't know, as I had no idea before I moved here, a 14er is a mountain that is over 14,000 feet high.
5. Dancing ~ I love dancing. All kinds. I may not be very good, but I love to move to music. Last year I was introduced to line dancing. I love country music so I gave it a shot. I've been going every Wednesday night since. I had to let go of my pride and look like a fool, so that I could learn the dances and enjoy myself. It all paid off. Line dancing is not slow and boring! There is stomping, spinning, and fancy footwork. Plus, who can say no to a handsome man in a cowboy hat? ;)
What are your hobbies?

Great post!! You live in a great area for hiking. I'm very jealous. enjoy yourself.
ReplyDeleteI used to like selling on ebay until they made it to where sellers can't leave negative feedback..now I just buy. :)
